Venture Crew
I have been a part of Venture Crew since 8th grade. We do a lot of backpacking and canoeing, as well as caving, rock climbing, and canyoneering. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to be the Administrative Vice President. My role was to get more people to join, as well as help new members feel included. I was able to double the number of active members in our group.
DECA
I joined DECA my sophomore year and since then have competed in multiple competitions. In 2020, I won first place at DLC in Restaurant and Food Service Management. In 2021, I placed second at DLC in Retail Merchandising. In 2022, I placed third at DLC for Restaurant Food Service Management and third at SLC. Being inDECA has helped me further my professional experience in competitions that simulate real world situations, and being a DECA officer has allowed me to grow my leadership and teamwork skills.
BHS Soccer
I have been on the BHS Girls Soccer team for 4 years now and it has given me the opportunity to learn how to communicate well with others, as well as teach me how to successfully sell to people through the fundraiser.
NRU Soccer
Soccer with NRU has been a part of my life since I was young. I have been able to make life-long friends and connections. Being a part of this team for so long has taught me how to work with other people to reach a common goal. It has also taught me how to solve problems between people and come up with a solution that benefits everyone.
